Worth a Long Drive for Best Food in Ireland
My meal here was not only the best I have had in Ireland, but one of the all time best. Local tender pork over potatoes and cabbage with exquisite sauce made for an exceptional dining experience. Plus, the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff cannot be beat. Wonderful in all respects.
Historic and beyond welcoming
One of the finest pubs we visited, with one of the most personable bartenders. The exterior is exactly as it looks in “The Quiet Man”, and I suspect the interior does as well. A must stop for lunch or porter or whiskey when visiting the sweet village of Cong.
Cong tastic
We had a late lunch on a rainy Sunday after a wedding. The food was first rate delicious fish n chips husband had the beef and Guinness pie.. really good portion and so tasty. The groom joined us later when the kitchen was closed but the Fab staff fed him anyway so thanks for the extra effort after a busy weekend for the chefs Great food great staff what more could you want
